In 2025, the Legal Food Hub provided free legal assistance to 123 farmers, food entrepreneurs, and food/farm organizations across New England, saving them $1.3M in legal fees. Meanwhile, amidst federal terminations of billions of dollars of conservation, climate, and DEI funding, the Legal Food Hub facilitated new connections and relationships, supported lawsuits, and provided educational resources to as many affected individuals and organizations as possible. Additionally, we hosted our first-ever Continuing Legal Education series, which provided free legal education and professional credits to New England attorneys.
